ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT — FRENCH PURSUIT

INTRODUCTION
French Education Limited is committed to making French Pursuit accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains what we have done, what we are still working on, and how you can reach us if you encounter difficulty using our website or services.
OUR COMMITMENT
We aim for the French Pursuit website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.
We work with Wix, our website platform, which includes accessibility features and is regularly updated to improve compliance with these guidelines.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE
The following accessibility features are currently in place across French Pursuit:
Alternative text — images include descriptive alternative text where relevant.
Plain language — we write in clear language wherever possible.
Podcast transcripts — every podcast episode is available as a full written transcript, making audio content accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing users. The first transcript is free.
LESSONS AND COMMUNITY
For 1:1 lessons via Zoom: if you have specific accessibility needs for your lessons, please write to us before booking and we will do our best to accommodate.
For the Weekly French on WhatsApp community: WhatsApp has native accessibility features including VoiceOver, TalkBack, and other screen reader support on most devices. If any format is difficult for you, please let us know and we will try to arrange an alternative.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
We are a small business and there are areas where we know improvements can still be made:
Some visual choices — such as decorative typography and colour combinations — may not always meet the strictest contrast thresholds.
We are actively working on these areas and welcome feedback.

French Pursuit is designed to work with the following assistive technologies on their current major versions:
Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack.
Browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
Older browsers or assistive technologies may not display or interact with the site correctly.
